First State Bank has partnered with one of our favorite organizations, Fleece & Thank You, in support of their first ever “Make a Blanket Week – Macomb.”

Fleece & Thank You has recently launched in Macomb County and their goal is to make 500 blankets for kids facing extended stays in the hospital and we’d love for you to help them reach that goal.

Fleece & Thank You will have a drive-thru service set up to distribute blanket kits with minimal interaction. You’ll be able to simply open your trunk and they will put the kits in there for you.

What is a blanket kit and what do you do with it? No worries – each kit comes with instructions! Blankets are super easy to make and don’t take a lot of time. Even better? Your blanket will be going to make a child smile! You can visit Fleece & Thank You’s website to learn more about making blankets.
