The Death of George S. Patton (presentation by Michael Davis) sponsored by the Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society on Sunday December 6th at 2pm. Admission is by donation.
DID YOU KNOW that on December 9, 1945 General Patton’s staff car collided with a 2 1/2 ton truck. Gen Patton was discovered to have a cervical spinal cord injury that rendered him paralyzed from the neck down. He died in his sleep of congestive heart failure on December 21, 1945.
The accident & death of General Patton has been the subject of rumor & speculation since it occurred 70 years ago. Come to Michael Davis’s presentation regarding these events.
