On Wednesday, January 17, in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the library will host a day of community service to benefit the local organization, “Macomb Feeding the Need.” Dr. King once said, “Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” Drop in any time between 10 AM and 7 PM for as little or as long as you can to help make “plarn” (plastic yarn) from grocery bags that the organization uses to make sleeping mats for the homeless. No experience is necessary.
