The Roseville Optimist Club has been service the community for nearly 25 years and we are hosting a New Optimists Welcome Party to offer members of the community an opportunity to learn more about our Roseville Optimist Club, and Optimist International. For instance, our club is one of more than 2,400 Optimist Clubs located in 22 countries around the world. Our focus is centered on the youth in the city of Roseville. www.optimist.org
The Optimist motto is “Friend of Youth” and our mission is “Bringing out the Best in Kids”. Each club decides which projects will accomplish the mission in their particular community. Every year our club endeavors to continue programs that help our youth and community members, and to add programs depending on the community’s needs.
We take pride in the equality of our membership and seek community-service minded individuals who want to “give back” to their community and who may have a interest in helping our youth develop into caring, responsible adults.
We invite you to attend our picnic as a guest so we can share information about the club’s activities and goals. At the party you will be offered a picnic special.
