SUMMARY:Little Libraries(c) Design Contest for Little Library(c) Structures
DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Eastpointe Library are looking for individuals\, groups and businesses to create a Little Library(c) design.  Little Libraries(c) contributes positively to the community by providing free books. “Take a book-return a book” is the motto.  The Friends would like to see these structures added to five (5) of the Eastpointe Parks; Kennedy\, Memorial\, MIDog\, Rein and Spindler.\nRequirements:\n*At least 4 cubic foot area for books\n*At least 2 shelves\n*Lowest shelf should be approximately 2 feet from the ground\n*Constructed with weather-proof materials (fee free to use recycled materials)\n*BE CREATIVE\n*Design plans submitted no Later than February 29 \n5 winning designs will be announced on March 28.\nOnsite construction will be completed by June 4. \nWINNERS WILL RECEIVE $150.00 DURING THE UNVEILING OF THE WINNERS AND WILL BE RECOGNIZED BY HAVING A PLAQUE WITH THEIR NAMES ON THE LITTLE LIBRARY(C). \nLooking for ideas?
