Our 30th annual Gilda’s Family Walk & 5K Run, presented by Princeton Management, will take place on September 9, 2023. Whether you’re running, walking or taking it Around Town on your own, we’re so thrilled to have you join the fun! Our route features a beautiful walk/run through Royal Oak that has a special stop along the way – Gilda’s Royal Oak Clubhouse.

Join us as families, friends and coworkers come out to support our courageous cancer community and ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Participants will receive a walk t-shirt, free snacks, family activities, and an inspiring day as we come together to show that Community Is Stronger than Cancer.

Your participation and dedication will help to ensure that Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit is able to continue its very important mission of providing free social and emotional support to anyone touched by cancer.

Event Timeline:
7:00 a.m. – Registration, breakfast snacks and activities begin
8:15 a.m. – Opening ceremony at the starting line
8:30 a.m. – Runner start
8:35 a.m. – Walker start
