Michigan has moved to stay at home effective Tuesday, March 24th. This means a lot more layoffs and a lot more unemployment claims. Last week Michigan’s governor announced expanded unemployment insurance benefits in the event of layoffs due to Coronavirus. ASE in conjunction with its unemployment compensation class instructor Brian Gmerick from F.A.R will present a one-hour webinar on the expanded Michigan unemployment insurance program and the basics employers should know regarding their unemployment compensation requirements.
