DESCRIPTION:The city’s popular “Music in the Plaza” series kicks off Wednesday\, May 24 in the plaza behind City Hall with a performance by jazz favorite Wally Fitz.  This year’s entertainment schedule in Eastpointe will also include free outdoor presentation of the classic movie ” American Graffiti” Wednesday\, June 14th as part of Crusin’ Gratiot week here in Eastpointe. \nCo- sponsored by JJ Mich\, Inc.\, AEW Engineering\, Partners in Architecture\, Eastpointe – Roseville Chamber of Commerce and the Eastpointe Downtown Development Authority (DDA)\, this year’s Music in the Plaza lineup includes: \n*Wednesday\, May 24 – Wally Fitz Jazz\, lontime series performer\, authentic jazz.\n*Wednesday\, June 7 – WTFK Radio\, back for a third year\, Top 40\, Classic Rock.\n*Wednesday\, June 14 – Movie Night in the Plaza “American Graffiti” at dusk\n*Wednesday\, June 21- Bob and Carl\, another series regular\, Top 40\, classic songs\n*Wednesday\, July 5 – Cadillac Cowboys\, make their return to the series\, rockabilly\, rock.\n*Wednesday\, July 19 – Denise Davis and th eMotor City Sensations\, a new participant\, rhythm and blues\, Top 40\, classic\, pop and funk.\n*Wednesday\, Aug 2 – Mainstream Drive\, another newcomer\, classic rock and top 40 cover band that enjoys performing most popular or “mainstream’ music. \nAll Music the Plaza shows are 6:30-8 pm in the plaza behind city hall\, 23200 Gratiot Ave.  just north of 9 mile Rd.
