DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters\, Macomb County\, is conducting a virtual candidate forum for the Eastpointe Mayoral Primary at the end of June.\n\nThe LWV is non-partisan and conducts forums according to a strict non-partisan format.\n\n“There will not be a live audience for this forum. Instead\, residents can email their questions to us ahead of time\, lwvmacomb@gmail.com”\, said Kathy Poore\, Forum Coordinator. “All questions will be kept confidential”.\n\nResidents are urged to submit questions for the candidates.  EMAIL QUESTIONS BY JUNE 27 TO:  lwvmacomb@gmail.com\n\nThe forum will be recorded and made available on LWV Macomb’s Facebook page and YouTube\naccount. Eastpointe residents can watch the forum later\, at their convenience.\n\n“It’s important to let Eastpointe voters hear from the candidates in a non-partisan format”\, said\nKatherine Labuhn\, President\, LWV Macomb. “We hope voters will get the information they need\nto make confident decisions and participate in democracy.”\n\nFour candidates are running for a chance to become mayor of Eastpointe in the August 8th\nPrimary. The top two vote-getters will face off in November.\n\nThe Eastpointe-Roseville Chamber of Commerce is happy to assist them in getting the word out and in soliciting questions for the candidates from Eastpointe residents
