DESCRIPTION:The city will offer a free paper shredding event from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday\, Aug. 18 at City Hall\, 23200 Gratiot Ave. In addition to paper\, the following items can be shredded: Paperclips\, Staples\, Small amounts of cardboard\, Small quantities of Floppy discs\, CDs\, and Flash Drives. \nItems NOT ACCEPTED include: Batteries\, Hard Drives\, Computer Screens or computer units\, Large amounts of plastic\, X-Ray Film\, Microfiche\, and Large amounts of Tapes or CDs. \nResidents are asked to limit their paper and other accepted items to no more than 10 boxes. \nThanks to the Shred It company for providing this service.
