Learn to design like a Dutch master and create a breathtaking, living masterpiece. Using Dutch Masters such as Huysum, Bosschaert and Ruysch as reference, this class is designed to cultivate your creativity, and encourage your imagination within floristry. During this session you will learn how to select and combine flowers that represent the Dutch artists’ vision. Seasoned floral designer Gabrielle Reilly will demonstrate how to blend color and texture, and explore techniques to create impact. Gabrielle will instruct students on the methods for creating a large-scale vase design. This one-of-a-kind workshop will allow you to try your hand at designing like a Dutch Master! We will provide the perfect vessel, beautiful blooms and lush foliage, as well as all of the tools needed to create a Dutch masterpiece in real life! We are very excited to share our Dutch master design knowledge with you! Light refreshments and champagne will be available. As always, you are welcome to bring a beverage of your own.
