DESCRIPTION:About\nThe Anton Art Center is the Region 10A Regranting Agency for the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA)\, and will award minigrants to nonprofit organizations\, schools\, municipalities and individual professional artists in Macomb and Oakland counties in support of arts and culture programming and professional or organizational development.\n​Direct Link for the minigrants from the Anton Art Center:  Here \nDeadline \nSubmit completed online applications through the MCACA e-Grant system here. Deadlines are as follows: \nRound 1 – August 3\, 2018 at 11:59PM EST \nRound 2 – January 15\, 2019 at 11:59PM EST \n​ \nCategories \nMinigrants will be awarded in two categories: \n\n\nArts and Culture Projects – organizations may apply for grants of up to $4\,000. \n\n\nProfessional or Organizational Development – individual professional artists and organizations may apply for grants of up to $1\,500. \n\n\nMichigan non-profit organizations\, schools\, municipalities and individual artists are eligible to apply and the Round 1 deadline for activities that take place between October 1st\, 2018 and September 30th\, 2019 (individual professional artists are only eligible for professional development support). \n​ \nWorkshops \nThe Anton Art Center will offer a series of FREE informational workshops on minigrant guidelines and the application process. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis\, and organizations will benefit from submitting a well-written grant application and supporting materials which conform to the guidelines. \nAttending an application workshop will help applicants understand what is required for a competitive application. Though not required\, new and prospective applicants are encouraged to attend one of these workshops. \n​ \nWorkshop Schedule \nRSVPs are requested for workshop attendance.
