BBB invites you to join us for the Better Business Bureau® Torch Awards for Ethics Award Ceremony that will be held at Oakland University’s Oakland Center in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 11am EST, to honor this year’s finalists and award winners.

The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics represents a celebration of integrity, trust, and ethical excellence in the business community. The competition recognizes businesses and non-profit organizations throughout Eastern Michigan & the Upper Peninsula that exemplify the highest standards of trust in all they do. At the Better Business Bureau, our mission is to lead the way in promoting trust within the marketplace, and the Torch Awards embody our commitment to this mission.

Hear from our keynote speaker, Laketa L. Henderson, District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Michigan District Office as she shares her inspiring story and discusses how the SBA helps companies thrive in Michigan’s ever-evolving marketplace.

Have a good time following along as CBS News Detroit morning anchor, Sandra Ali emcees this year’s luncheon. Sandra is an award-winning anchor and reporter who has made several regular network appearances on the Fox News channel, CNN and CNN Headline News.

Network: Connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for ethical business practices. This is also a great chance to meet BBB staff members and ask any questions you might have.

Enjoy catered lunch: A buffet-style lunch will be provided during the event so be sure to come hungry! Food options include beef, chicken, garden salad, green beans, roasted potatoes and an assortment of freshly baked cookies.

Individual tickets are available for $65 each. Proceeds benefit the BBB Educational Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Better Business Bureau Serving Eastern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Our Educational Foundation is dedicated to promoting marketplace trust and ethical business practices through community interaction and the exchange of information. Through our community outreach efforts, BBB speaks with more than 500 unique individuals per quarter through free presentations, workshops and community partner events.
